Just curious about moving backgrounds...

I was wondering... if you wanted to make a moving background would you create multiple frames like you do with characters? :?

It depends on how the background is supposed to be moving. If it can be done by using a single frame (and just moving the actor) that is better. But, if you need to use animations, do so.

What i mean is like say a turret is moving but the entire screen is not

Then it would be better just to animate the turret, and put it on the background. Animations as large as the screen have a very large file size, and if it can be avoided by making a small animation, it should.
