ok i read it and now i am confused.

ok I have no actions in the platform i want to make the event actor jump off of ( jumper ).

I have no action for the jumper in the event actor ether.

the platform is a floor ( ground )

look at the collision event you have made. check and see wheather it is only the event actor that bounces. set the collide actor's final velocity to 0.
