Has Anyone Thought About Making A Pokemon Game?

Hello,I haven't bought the software yet,but I'm going to. I just have one question... Can you put in your own sprites from games like Mario or Pokemon? And has anyone here made a game like that? Post please!

you can have any kind of image files you want! like gif, png, bmp etc. game editor is awsome! i kinda like the way pokemon games are made(i dont like pokemon tho) i like how you can see it from birds eye view and stuff like that,when im done with creating my game, im going to create a game like a Snake game. that old classic game.

I have thought about making a pokemon type game. I was thinking about different things and ways to do things, but then you think of some other things that you can't think of a solution to and then more things until, "Yizerkabooski!" let someone else make it. I'm sure there is probably a way to do it but I just couldn't be bothered.

no!!!!!!!!! don't make a pokemon game!!!!!!!!!i am making a very very awesome pokemon/mario game and i have some really good sprites for them.please don't make a game like those until i am finished thanx.the game is called:Bowsers Revenge.it will be very cool.i am half finished.and when i'm done i'll put it on the demo page.maybe i'll sell it.i dunno.

Besides, isn't there a copyright issue to sell games with existing characters (Mario, Pokemon)?

Good point, but if it's a mini game and you give all copyrights to Game Freak, I wouldn't see how it could be against the Copyright laws. I'm going to try and see what I can make of a Pokémon game.
