That depends... It's a competitive market but since the Internet is so vast with lots of places to sell, it's easy to get a small segment and make a living.

However, if you're thinking of striking it rich overnight, forget about it.

The people who will make the most money will be the people who love what they're doing and stay in it long enough to make it happen.

You need to develop lots of games and reach a lot of people and that takes time.

So don't think you're going to sell one game and retire. :-)

As to striking it rich overnight, it definately won't happen. As a teenager, I am always looking for was to make money. Last year I thought all i would have to do to make a couple hundred dollars more each year was to crank out a game then sell it.

My game didn't sell.

So my advice is be patient!! If you rush things, your game will never sell.
