weird tiled actor behavor

I came up with the idea to surround my levels with a tiled actor with only black tiles to help with my game's problems with box coming out. I surround the arena with the black tiles and when I press esc to exit tile mode and it reverts back to an actor with one tile :?: I've tried it multiple times but it's not working, anyone know what's going on?

I can honestly say I've never seen that happen, or heard of any case of it happening. Can you upload a ged with the tiles in it, or at least the tiles?

*sigh* no it's fine lol, it only happens in my game's main ged so I guess it's something I'll have put up with, I'll use wire framed regions instead. Some times it's best not to argue with ge and do things another way lmao

I wouldn't have learned as much as I have from gE if I always did things the other way... but I guess it is a problem with the ged. Have you tried merging your main file with another file? You'd have to save and load the view's scripts, but the rest of the game would stay in tact, and might fix the problem.

huh.. Maybe I'll try that. And it's just that I don't want to run out of time to finish the game lol, I don't have time to meddle when I can do an alternative you know.
