Australia, the land down under

Hello all you people who will read this a minimum of 8 hours after I've written this. This message is mainly addressed to those people who are reading this in Australia. Please explain why there are none of you guys on any forums. It gets boring having to wait for the next day to get a response. This also goes for all you kiwis as well, plus the bogans

I'm not from Australia, but I know I've seen a fair few users here that were from Australia over the years. Aside from the US, I think that's the country that I see the most users come from. Then again there aren't that many gE users to begin with. Recently though there has just been far fewer people posting than usual.

Why do you think that is?

Counter to what I would normally think, gE seems to get less traffic from users during this time (summer for the US). At least this is what I've noted in the last two years. A lot of the users that would post frequently have stopped for various reasons, and not many of the new users have replaced them.

Although it is winter here in Aus, the weather is better than it was in Summer, if only we could say that about our politics, but im not going into that. So that also could explain why there are so little posts from here

Some of us just post when we see something that we could be of assistance on, or if we have a new project were working on.

I also think the chat being gone has added to this because people used to stay around for a little while and chat in it and post in the forums if it was important.
