Talk about making games.

I am trying to make a small letter matching game for my daughter who can not read or write (she is autistic) we are trying to get her to match letters and small words, as she loves the computer I thought that maybe this would give us a better chance.
basically what I am trying to do (unsuccessfully) it place two lots of images on screen containing the alphabet, the letter A in a colour and the letter A in black and so on, she must then click on the two letters and the word Apple would appear and the two letters would disappear.

is this possible for a novice to do? or will I still be banging my head next week

Thanks
Paul

Hey Ski

I've been working on a nifty little program that "simulates" playing with building blocks. If you think your daughter might be interested in it pm me with an email address and I'll send it your way. Its not perfect, but it is kind of fun.
