The iPhone message block tutorial

When running the tutorial video - build in GE - the iPhone message (po-up) block the view at a certain point. Ex: Making the view follow a actor 1.

what do you mean tutorial video build in GE? i cant remember any tutorials with iphone messages. can you provide a link/file/ whatever you are talking about?

The built-in tutorials are very glitchy due to the fact that they are designed to run on the older version of Game Editor.
The IPhone message will go away if you go into the configuration settings for Game Editor and find the line that says,

Code: Select all

ShowIPhoneImageSizeReminder=True

Instead type in

Code: Select all

ShowIPhoneImageSizeReminder=False

There are other tutorials that just plain don't work. I was just going to report them on the "G.E. Bug hunt" forum.

Maybe iPad. Redo the tut, and got the message and clicked to remove it. So it's gone now.

I think it's the iPhone image size limit reminder that GE has..
I was also confused when I first read this.. xD

Yep. The Iphone image reminder completely ruins the tutorial. It blocks the screen so Makslane (I assume that's who wrote the tutorials) clicks on random places on the screen. It's kind of weird seeing the mouse click on nothing and watch him (or whoever) type random nonsense without having a script editor open or anything.
