Textbox?

I'm adding a system to record names for the highscore table in my game. When I searched the forum for the typical way to go about this I only found some refrences to a "textbox". Am I missing something or is this an outdated feature? I don't seem to have an actor type for this.

I've already got a basic workaround but I want to make sure I'm not doing this the hard way before I move on to handling shift for caps and such.

There is easy way.
Go to actors text options and set text input to yes.
