OK my first game.

There are a couple of weird bugs such as the planets drifting across the background but overall it does the job.

Keys are simple, arrow keys to steer and space to restart.
All data and codes, GE file, and a windows and linux port are included.

Windows file tested on a win 7 netbook, and the linux on an ubuntu 9.04 netbook.

All advice and comments gratefully received.

Hey, nobody posted any comments to this game, but I tried it, and I think it's really nice. Pretty tough though... How about taking out the collisions of the planets with each other? They would probably stay at their normals speed that way... as much as I've played it, which was about 5 tries, I got up to 40

Yeah when I first wrote it it was almost impossible, 71 being my highest score, I may tweak it but I really wrote it just to see how everything works. My next game is a 2 player maze game, 1 person makes the maze, the other tries to get through it.


BTW How do I put a screen shot on the thread title?
