[Informative] Forum activity downfall

Postby bat78 » Fri Mar 13, 2015 1:27 pm

Recently I have encountered a pretty serious forum activity downfall.
Despite the fact there is literally no one to post, I am still on the line, developing miraculous, mind-blowing projects and more accurately, analyzing this event.
Now as a matter of inspection I can tell the reasons.

People in general post, because of 3 reasons.
- They have an idea/game to present
- They saw amazing/impressive post and they were somehow attracted to it
- They have a certain problem

Let's start counterclockwise, because it's all connected. I will struct it as a BIT. ("Because" Infinity Table)
0. They don't have a certain problem
1. because there are no people to start working on anything
2. because they think gE is dead
3. because no one else is posting anything
4. 1.

I used to post here with my ideas and projects, I used to even help people on a rare occasion (though often it was I that was seeking help).
So with that said, it's pretty agonizing to see this forum slowly dieing down. I still come here because some of my best friends on the internet are here. If it weren't for that, I'd have left a few years ago.

Anyways, to add to your bullet points:

Jagmater posts because of 2 reasons:
- found something cool on the internet to share
- to make a stupid comment in an attempt to make someone laugh

He doesn't post because:
- he doesn't have anything witty to say.

Anyways.
