Hey guys, this looks pretty cool. Just so you know, you're taking a bunch of heat from the Game Maker guys. But don't worry, keep working! It's nice to have a choice.

Also, I'm an admin at GDN. If you guys want to affilate or do whatever with us, it's cool. We're pretty new too, so it would be win-win. Just AIM or email me, and I'll get back to you. Good luck with your project! Don't let those GM bullies scare you.

I'm from the GMC (Game Maker Community) and they are just spiting on this. It's a shame :(

I used to be there back when they had the iB. They're just being total flaming idiots. If this was my board, I'd post an annoucement and be all like "This board isn't for flaming. Keep it cool or you'll get yourself a temp-ban."

All the newbies to game maker and game making programs are the flammers.
They don't know that game making engines start from barley anything.

This is quite true. Projects all have to start somewhere. GM wasn't "up to standards" if you compare it to itself now. But that's like comparing Germany to itself 60 years ago. Plus, taking sides is bad; it leads to the dark side.[/img]

Not all of the GM guys are flaming jerks. I am a GM guy but I try to encourage the developing of this program.

I agree - I have used GM for a bit, and GE looks like a very promising program.
