Right now (10/14/2009) I'm working on some C++ projects, but I might be able to help if you have some Game Editor questions. :)

One idea:
Make a big text actor and make it allow "input"

Then add save and load functions to save/load the text text.
I can't die, I already tried

Make a text actor and make it input one. So you will have a place to type. :D

its an option when you make a text actor.

my personal advice: give up :p

lack of word wrapping and only having the C string handling methods available makes working with any long texts a pain in GE. These can be overcome by using a fixed width font and writing some more useful string methods I guess, it just depends how much work you want to do! ;)

hehe, well I agree with you, however I don't think the work involved would be worth the result. I made a post in feature suggestions about including a boundary box for text areas which would make this all much easier so I recommend backing up my idea in the features forum or whatever its called ;)
