My Games Race to Release: Bug Hunt!

Postby kickstart » Mon Mar 11, 2013 6:13 pm

I know that I have been requesting a lot of help on this forum, but I would like you to join my project in a "Bug Hunt." This will be a shared google drive document spreadsheet will bugs will be reported and worked on. Any bug or suggestions are taken on this ticketing system.

This will be the final push until the first release and once the bugs are patched and everything runs smooth, my game will be released on the iOS App Store and (eventually) the Google Play Store. I am very excited, because this is my debut game and I look forward to helping as many people as I can on their projects, especially the Steam Run forum project.

So who is in? There are many kinds of jobs, simple programming errors, variable problems, and graphic work needed. If you are in, I will send PM with the links to participate in this small and almost completed project.

Please help if you have the time, even if you just fix a thing or two/report a bug or two.
:D

I don't know if I'll participate in some way, but I wanted to say this one thing.
Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Drive wrote:Google has only one, unified terms of service and privacy policy for all its products. According to CNET, unlike competing services Dropbox and SkyDrive, Google retains a more broad claim to reproduce, use, and create derivative works from content stored on the Google Drive. This license is perpetual even after removal of content. Although the user retains intellectual property rights, the broad Google Drive license allows extraction and parsing of uploaded content to customize advertising and other services that Google provides to the user, and for promoting the service.[14] The broad nature of Google's claim to uploaded files also allows for usability improvements, such as creating modified versions of uploaded content which are more suitable for various use cases. For example, transcoding an uploaded video into multiple formats more suitable for viewing on a phone or different web browsers.
Another report from The Verge finds that Google's terms are quite comparable to those of its competitors, and slightly better in some cases.[15]

I read it from somewhere on Google Drive itself, too. I just can't find it now, since I don't have enough time for that.
It seems that Google Drive doesn't really support your rights to your own content, so I'd recommend you to not use it.
I don't know how secure Dropbox or SkyDrive are, I just wanted to say this.

It says slightly better in some cases, and comparable, well then I might just stick to Drive. And Drive is pretty simple and very sleek to use. It is fast and its easy because if you have a Gmail you have Drive. And most use Gmail.
