GE Battle Ship

Postby jimmynewguy » Thu May 12, 2011 8:46 pm

Just one of those I got bored and made this kind of games. Features breathtaking graphics, sounds and music. With an ingenious random guessing AI to play against. Probably not the best coded, but I digress.

- Mouse to drag ships, while dragging left or right keys to rotate ship (your ships go on the right)
- Hit the start button for the computer to set up his ships
- start guessing away clicking on squares
- "`" key (that top left one under escape [aka grave accent]) shows/hides debug

Hope people can learn something from this. Thanks to jazz_e_bob for getclone2 and rykein for posting about the random bingo thing, just seeing it made me think of how easy it would be to make that a random boat spot guesser (and I don't think I've seen battleship on GE yet).

Very cool!
The graphics are...humble, but I like it!
Simple graphics and (relatively) simple coding = one very cool game

Thanks, I know graphics are my weakest point. And this is mostly for an example, so I wasn't worried about graphics :)
