Haven't worked on this game for 4 months or so, but I'm going to send what I've done to it.
What I've done:
*Completed the story.
*3 new debuffs for the game. (One is only available in survival mode.)
*A very cool buff. (Only in survival mode.)
*Added survival mode. <- Kinda like an endless game, you should try it when you are above level 30.
*Really improved the interface.
*You can now upgrade in the stage select screen.
*A new rating system, since levels isn't the best measurement of your ship's strength.

There's tons of stuff I want to do to the game but I lost interest it seems. (Thanks to my messy coding skills.)
Link to the game: https://copy.com/OovaXC119dJvB6RA/Cadet ... download=1
Currently: Semi-Active.
Working on: Maybe putting my test games in gamejolt, polishing them a bit, but I still don't know when.

+1 for using copy services. Now I'll be trying the game.

The survival mode is cool and I don't remember it from before.
Of course we both can notice the same bugs, since I am sure you've been playing the game much more than I did.
There are a lot of things inside and testing them means playing a lot and catching bugs.
It is impressive that you've done all this without much coding.. and sad due to the fact you waste much more efforts like this.
Of course, this isn't true if you had to learn how to C nicely. But it's a one time thing you know.

I see you like games about planetary stuff..
Maybe in the alleged future you and I both can manage to create some unbearably enjoyable game (maybe something like starbound????)
What do you think? xP

Absolutely true. It's because of my lack of C knowledge development is a lot slower and getting more boring. I try to program my new stuff a lot tidier now, and I have learnt tons from making this game, so even though it's not complete, and not likely to be done, it's worth making.
P.S: It also started from Tintran's Asceroid, believe me. xD

I'll be looking forward to that moment! Maybe after you release the new gE engine! Which is a time worth waiting for! :D

Oh yeah. I forgot that for then we will have the new gE interface :D

It will be much easier for all to create games, because it will have a better-looking, 21-century interface, much better integrated IDE with custom semantic syntax highlighting, bookmarks, line highlighting, tabulation, snippets, search & replace etc etc, possibility for you to change actor names, sliders to rotate the actor or to re-size it, screenshotting function, fps optimizations, less-coding multiplayer support and much more!
My BitFox project along foxyGI is powerful beyond the limits and is capable of all that even now!
