Change an Actor's Type after creation?

I'm not sure this is even possible, but it would be nice to be able to change an actor's type after the actor's creation.

Sometimes, right after I create an actor, I decide I don't want the type of actor that I have created. I know, it is poor planning on my part, but as it stands now, I have to remove the actor and create a new one. This isn't a big deal, but it gets tedious if I have a number of actors...

eg:
I create a "normal" actor and then decide I want a "wire frame" actor. I remove "normal" and create "wire frame".
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

Rename and/or re-type actors.

I am a poor planner too. :(

I always wish I had search and replace functions for when I change my mind about actor/variable/constant names. I know it is slack but sometimes you don't know the best name for something until you have built it...
