Chain connected to a sword?

hi..im pretty much a n3Wb to GE....and i couldnt find what im lookin for anywhere on the forum....but i was wonder if it'd would be possible to have a chain connected to the sword
EX. 1 end of the chain is connected to hero.....the other end of the chain is connected to the sword

So when the hero throws the sword the chain moves with it but only as far as the chain can go
how would i go about doing that?

just make a pic of chain conncted to sword and.......and........ idont know may be bee-ant can help ya

Woops, it's the hardest thing for me...
You have to draw that sprites, sword connected chain, frame by frame...
If you want it look smooth, maybe you need 30 or more of frames...
