Global Code problem

When you make a void, sometimes it wont turn yellow and you have to rename the name of it for it to turn yellow so you can use it, like, say you have void myfunction(), it will be like this once myfunction();. but when you re - open the global code editor, it becomes white again and it's unidetified, why is this
