Is there a way to scale down the size of a game?

I was wondering, is there a way to scale down the game from, let's say 1024x768 to 800x600 or any other resolution?

Would be possible using opengl hardware acceleration features. But would slow down games. Especially on mobile devices. Maybe future feature.

1. Reduce Image quality
2 Reduce Audio quality

GO to Game properties, and change resolution size
