The User hype up Program

Postby NightOfHorror » Fri Aug 12, 2011 7:00 pm

This is not another repeat topic, just asking if you can help. If you havent please read the topic, one message, one request, for you know all details. Mak likes idea, so it will most likely not be false promise. We will test it out and see if the game will get more downloads, or if an apple game will get more buys.

- We already have a test game, so you dont need to worry about that.
X We will need more games or good sized demos.
X We need someone who can edit GE site to edit GE home page or if a special page is created for this, once a week for only one game a week.
_ We will only accept if you have a demo or game(sorry James and AXRIA).

That is all we need for this Program to work.

What about MediaFire.

I was debating that. I wonder which is more secure, mediafire or dropbox?

Mediafire is superior. Everyone I know here thinks it is good and I never heard a virus problem here.

How is media fire superior? you have to go through ads every time you want to download something. And you must access the website to upload a file. With dropbox, it's a direct link. No ads no uploading hassle because it will upload it automatically once you save it in the right directory, only thing to do is right click the file and "Copy Public Link"

Hmm, I might think about Dropbox. My antivirus blocks pretty much every ad on Mediafire with a malicious content warning, which is rather unnerving.

Inside your dropbox folder you've specified, there should be a folder called "Public", place files you want to share in this folder. Afterwards you can right click on a file and bring up the context menu of dropbox, there should be a selection for copying the link.
