3D Engine in Game Editor?

Postby infinito » Fri Feb 11, 2005 4:55 pm

Hello,

My first post in this community.
Yesterday i have installed GE. It seems very nice to me. I was able to make a litle game for my i-mate Pocket PC.
It runs very well....better than the ones made in the Visual Studio .NET platform.

I wonder if its possible to have 3D in this Editor ?

Thanks

But that shouldn't stop you from making animations in a seperate 3D program and then export them as GIF's for use in GE.

Sort of 2.5D, yes?
I wonder if there's a Z buffer in this program.
I know that's become useful in sidescrollers nowadays, such as Paper Mario.

If you are talking about GE, Oh yeah ! 2.5D CAN be done 8) The Z-Buffer is called Z-Depth in the Actor Control panel.
