Stupid Question? Keyboard input on PPC

On the PPC, is there keyboard imput? If so, how?

Almost all pockets have direction keys and some other special keys.
For keyboard input a virtual keyboard are used.
(If you use the input actor the virtual keyboard will be open)

The i-mate K-JAM comes with a real keyboard.
