collision help

Postby tnguy22 » Thu Oct 06, 2011 12:13 pm

so im having trouble now with my Collision or lack there of....im creating a RPG in the style of classic Zelda games and right now i have no collision. i've tried multiple times but still my main character just walks right through the enemies. im new to this and im sure its very simple but any help would be appreciated!

also if anyone has any insight into some basic AI for the enemies that i could build on i'd appreciate that as well.

Thanks in advance

When you are adding your colliding event, make sure that Repeat is set to "Yes", otherwise, the player will collide once, stop for one frame and then keep going afterwards
