Lost actor

Postby xenoruh » Fri Apr 15, 2005 3:42 pm

Hi, I have 28 actors which all have their own 28 unique shapes and 28 unique sounds. One of them seems to disappear as I set GE in Game Mode. I assume that I have commanded another actor to destroy it. Is there an easy way to find out why it disappears, without the laborious task of checking each actor?

Not that I know of, but are you sure this actor is created on start up?
I don't know if this will help, but it's wortha shot.

Quick and Ugly Fix?

Build a new version of the one that vanishes and delete the old one.

It is sometimes really hard to find where you put your actions.

I often wish I could search keywords on scripts. Or even show on-screen arrows between actors that reference each other.
Controlling complexity is the essence of computer programming.
