MAKIN SSBM GAME BUT HELP NEEDED

well im makin a supersmashbros game 2d and i need some help
first i used transparency to make somthing appear or go away but it is very difficult for the character selection. if someone could please tell me how to make buttons(click character picture and make something appear)that would help and i would very much appreciate it

To make buttons, you need just use the 'Mouse Button Down' event, and execute the action that you need (like 'Visible State')
