Need help on Animation, please!! :(

I'm new at this software, by far? It is amazing. But my question is, how do I get more animation for actors? Or am I able to design my own actors?

Do I need to use .bmp files for these? Please help me. Thank you in advance.

Dont quite understand your question but you can use .bmp .png and .jpeg and others but i prefer .bmp it doesnt add the white outside border! as for animations you can make seperate pictures or 1 with all your animations

using .bmp will make you games relatively bigger than if you'd use .png. But I'd never use .jpg
