Menu demo!

Postby lcl » Fri Dec 17, 2010 3:13 pm

Hello! :D

Yeah, I know that there is already
the menu demo of DarkParadox... :D

Anyway, this is my menu version, it
works perfectly. And it has nice effects!

Try it! :D

EDIT: Even if it says you that "Here you can start a new game",
you can't 'cause this is just a demo of menu creating.
And if you didn't understand, when you're in some other page than
main menu, press enter to return to main menu.

It's pretty hard to explain... Could you tell me more about what you need to do?
Anyway, the things that happen when you choose some of options are in:
view - timer - script editor
There you can modify what you want to happen. :D

I have my game now, okay, and I want to make the first page, that has to links,

first link for the game, if the player press this link, the game will start.
second link is the instruction of the game, if player press it will see the explanation of the game.

the problem is my game, the xvelocity of the view = x = 4, so how can I do it,

is very important to do this, this my last step to do it, thank u

So I'm a little new to everything, and I don't know C that well, so I just have a quick question with the menu.

I changed my game size from to original one to 640x400 and I was wondering how to make the view jump the proper distance so that my menus don't look strange.

Also I have edited the menu coding, but only to say different things. Just saying that now in case it's important.

Now im no moderator, but that was a super bump you made right there. Any topic thats more than 3 months old shouldn't be bumped up, instead, please make a new topic - in this case at the support section.

I'll go easy on you because your new, and in that case, please introduce yourself here: viewforum.php?f=1

I am a moderator, and bumping topics is generally okay on these forums. As long as you have something of actual value to post, like a real question, it is okay. Namely you shouldn't bump your own topic just to get it to the top again. In this particular case Nextoy is asking a question about the menu demo in this topic, so it is better not to make a new post, as it would just link back here.
