I know it's not advised but could you sell an apk game on google play. It would be impressive to see a ge game on the android store.

One guy tried to do that, but Google Play didn't allow him to upload the game because it was in debug mode. That is because this tutorial tells you to use "ant debug" for building the application. And that again is because the publishing mode didn't work when I made that tutorial. So, it's not possible and it's definitely not recommended, because the game would be shown correctly on only one resolution and Android phones have multiple different resolutions, so the game would appear cropped, or parts of it would be outside of the screen, on most of the phones.

EDIT: And skydereign has said that he's interested in working on the Android port, so, hopefully the port will be finished some day. But don't try to rush him, he already has more things to do than he has time.

I take it that Game Editor does not support Android natively so you have to export the game manually?
If so does that mean you can export to the Game Boy Advance as long as you have a bios?

Any ideas?

when you installed the android sdk on your pc , did you install android 2.3 ?
because your phone have 2.1, this may be the problem

hey,

your problem here with the compile is your missing few files, i presume you have downloaded the latest version of geandroid? in this version it is missing the icon files (i presume cos their are instructions on how to create/ edit your own icon.

the file that are missing should be located in
first............. geandroid/res/drawable-hdpi missing file(s) called ( .svn and icon.png )
second.......... geandroid/res/drawable-ldpi missing file(s) called ( .svn and icon.png )
third............ geandroid/res/drawable-mdpi missing file(s) called ( .svn and icon.png )

note that the icon file in each folder is a different size. (pixel size i think)

to fix this i have attached the filed you need just extract each file to the res folder for example

extract drawable-hdpi.zip to geandroid/res/ and replace the exsisting folder if asked.
do this for each zip file.

Hope this helps

you do see that no one has posted since 2015, with 90% of the posts since 2014 being about how this doesn't work anymore?
