[GEWJ] Array

Postby SuperSonic » Mon May 28, 2012 4:34 am

Hey guys! This is my entry for the "Escape"themed jam submited on May 27 2012. Unfortunatly, there was a movement bug that I couldn't figure out, but oh well. All the graphics and programming was done by me, and all the music was by DST :D

--Array--
All in all, the game is fairly simple. You are trapped inside a colorful, pixelated world. You are spawned right by an exit, but unfortunately, it's locked. You have to navigate your way through a massive maze in order to find the key and return safely. Normally, it wouldn't this wouldn't be that bad. The only problem is that everyone else in the world is trying to kill you! Use the arrow keys or your controller to navigate the world and escape. Don't get hit by the bullets and try to score as high as possible (scoring is based on the percent of health left at the end of the game). Be warned, this game is not easy. You may find yourself screaming at the computer and throwing hammers through the screen. If this happens, notify your doctor immediatly as these may be symptoms of Thisgameisdrivingmecrazysomnia. But most importantly, please enjoy the game and have fun

One final note, once you beat the game, come back here and post your score. Oh and, it is possible to get a perfect score. It's hard, but it's possible

Wow, this is hard
It's good though, and for some reason it reminds me of VVVVVV. That's weird, because they got nothing in common

I couldn't figure out what score I got, but I didn't get very far. But great job with this game, despite its insane difficulty I enjoyed it very much so! Awesome entry into the weekend jam. :) You truly have skills in game creating.

You get a score once you beat the game. It's hard but keep trying. I'll give a point to whoever can beat the game and another point to whoever has the best score :D

Thank you very much. I'm honored :P

Also, since I'm the only one with a submission, does this mean I won?
