@ lcl :

That's fine, and since bat78s great contribution http://game-editor.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13222&sid=bac55ec32933ecb76cec532582987fda, more needed here than ever !
Obviously, you can "individualise" any clone, as well as create and use an actor as a
"kind of clone":
Given, you change the animation of a specific clone, will it still be a clone ?
And whenever you create an actor with "CreateActor", you are creating a new instance of
an already existing actor, can't that be considered as a clone, too ?
Moreover, they are both using the same indexing method.
The more I think about it, the less I can keep apart both actor types...

Concerning LeeFesler : You remember his recent "accident", maybe, he is out ?
Can't you try to contact him, to see, if he can take part any longer ?

Cheers !

@digiot:
It seems you have confused the terms a little.
Actors and clones are the same thing. You just speak of clones when there's many instances of a single actor.
But more about that later. :)

And I've contacted LeeFesler, and I'm going to start the lessons, and he'll join us when he has time. :)

I'm now away from my home, but within few days, when I've returned home, I'll write the first lesson.

No blame for you, in "GE General", there goes anything.
But nice, you have migrated to "Tutorials".
What about making the main thread sticky ?

@everyone: I'm sorry for having failed my schedule this badly.
I was away from home for nearly two weeks.

I will try to get Part II done tomorrow.

Hello everyone!

You'll get to read the part II tomorrow. I tried my best to get it out today, but as I'm not feeling too well, I won't be able to finish it today.
I've already written a big portion of it, but there's still a lot to write, and I know that I can't get all that done today.

I'm sorry for the delay.

Don't set yourself under pressure, just relax, and most of all, recover from your sickness !
Glad to know, that the lessons will go on, that's most welcome !

Don't shy using text in a tutorial !
Even very basic, obvious things are worth, to be written down here.
Sometimes, one really has to read something word by word, to get a grasp on it !

To avoid such "walls of text", you could put some special text parts into quotes,
e.g. the examples, or any remarks, like any code would stand inside code-tags.

And what you did, dividing a large lession into smaller parts.

Keep up with your nice work,

Cheers !
