GE GUI!!

Postby Game A Gogo » Sat Jan 20, 2007 12:57 am

yay, i guess I'll be the first one to introduce a GUI inside GE ^^
It took me at least 8 hours non stop

It was fun doing this, and it also tells, how simple it is to make one, and also, I've never had a difficulty while doing it!

and of course, there is some what mini game inside it ^^

here is what it includes:

a simple tool bar
Code: Select all
File              Options        Help

New Game   Volume        About
------------    Brightness
Save Game
Load Game
------------
Exit

and some windows, that you can move, and that it saves the position!

and a mini somewhat cool game ^^

And ive wanted to do it whit low color definition, so its 256 colors whit a specific palette (Except for my icon).

Yinjoy

Ya need GE 1.3.6 to open ^^[/code]

 I have the older version so I cannot acces the file  but I got an Idea of what it is from the picture, 1 wire actor per menu thingie, the wirereagion is the menu thingie parent, the parent of the buttons is the menu thingie. :D and activation events for moving the actor with script to the select locations, in my preference... mouse position :D so thank you for posting the picture :D EDIT: but I know I do not have the full picture :( (no pun intended)

Right now (10/14/2009) I'm working on some C++ projects, but I might be able to help if you have some Game Editor questions. :)

umm, your totally of, i dont need to save the windows position, because i only use a Visibility state disable, so when i enable it again, it appears at the same place, the activation is for pausing/unpausing the game in the BG.
And all that you see, is all that it has! why don't you install the latest demo on a different location, simple as that!
