To be successful in game development, it’s important to map out exactly where you want to go and what you want to do. There seems to be a lot of design-related posts in here, so I would say everyone should give Video Game Design Pro a shot. It’s a design documentation tool used to help guide users through the process of creating their designs. http://www.thecorpament.com/downloads.html

This looks like Nice Softwhere but it looks like it asks for an Arm in a Leg in identity for using it.
that makes me not want to look into this softwhere.

that interesting

it's interesting that you mention that...when looking at the analytics for our downloads page there's a sharp decline in the number of users who actually download a trial after arriving on that page...so you make a good point...what identity items would you recommend that we remove in order to make the process more fitting for consumers like yourself?

well first of all about advertising:
I would not advertise another Program in Game Design on the forum of another Game Design program.(no offence)

more appealing:
removing the need of your address address, phone number, fax, zip code, and there is this anoying send to e-mail link that fallows the current viewing position,
I would recomend putting that on the opposite side of the page or just making it a Still Selection instead of a moving one.
just small things like that can make a big difference.

I hate people who advertise other game developing program here, Game Editor is a program itself, and it is about it, its not a general chat for all game developer, its for Game Editor users only!

(even though I said this in my last post.)
I agree with GameAGogo, this is not a place for you to advertise this program.
I just do not want to be rude about this.
If I have been offending please let me know.

(I know a bit of french, German and Spanish, I just felt like posting in those languages, although I did use a translator because my grammar is bad[for those languages]. :( )

Did I say Maudite? MAUTADINE! :3

Desoler s'il n'y a pas d'accent sur mes "e"

It's not game developing software, its software that allows you to plan what you want to make, before you make it. If you plan your games (do a design) they are more likely to get finished and more likely to be fun.

I'd have said this was a perfect place to advertise such a program; it doesn’t compete with Game Editor (not even slightly) and will help you all make better games with Game Editor. You might as well say nobody is allowed to mention any other development tool as well, but there are lots of references to WAV editors, Art Packages etc etc, this is a tool of another kind that can help with making games.

‘thecorpament’ has tried to help you guys. Where I work we often spend more than a year working on documentation before we even start a game. Many problems are solved before we get anywhere near putting art and code teams on it which saves vast amounts of time.

What’s more this software might help you if you were looking to make a living from game design and enter the industry as a pro, being able to show well presented, correct and properly thought through documentation is an important part of getting noticed and getting your foot in the door.

+1 point for ‘thecorpament’ for being helpful!

I think its perfectly fine to announce such a product here. Its not competition, its complimentary software.

I'll check it out.
