My Idea is,
In the editor, you can export your single/multiple file animations into GIF Images.
This would be really cool, because if I had a ton of frames for an animation I could just Export them into one GIF Image.
:)

Not for me.
All I got is the trial version of GIF Construction Set pro.
And now all the animations include watermarks.
And I don't want to buy anything.
Unless you know an Gif animator that doesn't cost anything and doesn't have a limit. :(

No, but you can draw still the separate frames, you don’t have to use Gifs and it's free. Infact using animated gifs is limiting, not only because there are only a few packages can handle them, but also because they only support a limited colour pallet and often you lose quality. Personally I use Pro Motion, which is just the amazing for spriting and creating maps (it also does support Gif anims). It’s very cheap as well :)

(check out this Pro Motion plugin for creating maps!…)

It'll also let you do this!
