I found a great freeware installer maker, called CreateinstallFree.

Its a great and simple way to make installs for you ge games, super useful if
Your game has multiple dat files, relies on cfg files, etc. Also you get to put your 'readme' in there.

On my system, CIFree gives an error when its finished packing the exe, it doesn't hurt anything and doesn't crash the program, and the installs work just fine, so i ignore it.

Here is another one...I have not used any installer yet but I am planning to. Do installers compress files any better than winzip? Can I expect to have a smaller file size?

1st: it depends what compression method is being used, zip is starting to be obsolete.
2nd: installer is all the way for self extraction with some options, to facilitate distribution of your game or such things.
