Testing time! :-)

First question, when I export an OSX executable, it outputs a document with no file suffix. For example, opening the incursion.ged file and exporting an OSX executable. Is this file an Xcode project improperly setup, an OSX executable that doesnt launch(evan after adding .app to the file name), or is it a data file to be used in an XCode project? I've also test with metal slug turbo, and am getting the same exported executable file type that isnt an xcode project, or an OSX executable. Is anyone running into this as well?

On MacosX only binary runtime is supported in the beta. On of the big advantages of GE is the export into a cool single file.
So a app bundle is not 100% required.

Do the following
-Load the great incursion demo
-Export to MacosX
-from the commandline: chmod +x incursion
-from the commandline: ./incursion

ENJOY!

Worked like a charm!
thanks for the help Andreas. Thank you very much. Cant wait to start to port some of our projects to Game Editor and do some iPhone/iPad tests!

EDIT: Does anyone have any thoughts on how a Game Editor created app will apply to the iPhone OS4 license changes? Is it as fuzzy as it is with nearly every other iPhone development environment currently is? I assume some users here likely know what I'm talking about.

does anyone know if its possible to load the "gameEditor.dat" file from a local network server rather than the FTP server? Its taking a LONG TIME to test some current tests using the FTP method, long to upload, and long to download again.

My initial tests are working very smoothly on an iPhone 3GS.

EDIT: wow this is a quiet forum sometimes.

Wow, wait. So to test a game on the iPhone i have to access the internet with it, and then download the game each time? (Upload it before).
Isn´t there any easier way? SO you cant simply copy the game to the iPhone via BT or USB?

Sorry, the ftp redirect does work on all computers but unfortunately not on iphone. Will think about another way to do this.
