Anyone can get the source code and compile the pro version and all engines, but needs to follow the license.
So, the games produced need to be GPL v3. If the game is not GPL v2, the developer need to buy a license.

But what will be better for the Game Editor community, is if this hacker group contribute to the Game Editor evolution.

Honestly makslane i am no expert but i think you should end the open source. In the past i sent you a link to a website which lets you download GE if you pay to suscribe. This is illegal and it cutting money from your pockets. Soon more websites like that will pop up selling your product and taking money that i feel you should be earning for your pocket.I even saw a website that was putting it out as freeware but that site no longer has it.
Now one thing i hate is stealing so maybe iam over-reacting but i really feel you should end this.
Did you ever contact the website that i sent you the link and give them hell or you let them slide

The link you send me was a fake pirate site.
There are a lot of site in the Internet thats tell you they have a software to download but are just virus, not the real software!

About the open source, is the only way I have now to get developers to work on Game Editor.
I can't work in Game Editor full time like before, but I want to see what I have planned to the Game Editor evolution done.
The open source ensures the Game Editor will not die.

But piracy is always present in software the development world.
If anyone is using Game Editor without follow the license, it is piracy.

I agree with makslane, it's good that it's still open source. Slowly I'm learning C++ and maybe one day I'll be able to help :D but... No time soon for sure because I'm really busy too.
