I think he's making GE v.1.4.0

yea, after all, this is the 1.3.9th version of GE, the next update will be a new, flat, nice number.

It would be nice to have another big update, but it might just be that he's very busy at work (remember he cant work on only GE anymore because not enough people buy it ) Still, fingers crossed!

Then again, perhaps Makslane, like alot of other computer orientated companies, has several versions of GE already developed, and just releases them every so often. Like Vista and all the other versions of computers, they are always one step ahead of the version that they release.
Just a though...

Going back to Regine's post---does this mean it's possible to make an online game with game editor? That's something I'm interested in.

yes. and the reason why that is there, it's simple. Makslane had given out a beta of GE containing network incompatible (Didn't worked btw) and you needed to set up those things, I guess he didn't cleaned that dialog
