Put in the down right corner (I'm not so sure how official the place is tough) of the image:

or to be more sure
(C)Your Name
or
(C)J2Graves Games Co

No one will steal a picture with copyright in the corner.

(c) [your name] [year made]

Oops I forgot to mention the year.

Sometimes we see years also like this:
(C)Game-Editor 2003-2008

oh, I just always place my logo in the corner, it'll be hard to remove that =D

But people can allways cut your picture. The best place would be right in the middle of the picture but that doesn't look very cool doesn't it.

If you still worry, place that copyright text in the center...

You can also use watermarks or even hide your copyright in the pic.
