I haven't made an official how to use document for this yet... Sorry. The demo kinda shows example code that should be used to integrate this in your game. If you need more assistance, do mention it, and I will help... Might take a few days before I reply though. Good luck!

This is way too hard to understand but I really wish I could use it

i'm working on an RPG and the title screen is almost done but I need to find a way to design levels. I was thinking about saving another game file as a .dat file then renaming the ".dat" to ".map" lol

Anyway man, Pyro I could use your help bro!

I need to know exactly what you want to know so I can explain it. Be specific. Is it that you can't insert it in your current game or you don't know how to make scripts that work with it? I'll be waiting for your reply.

Pyro, it seems you need to split up any feature on it into some separated ged. So he will know which function needed to do that feature. I think Hblade confused because of your mix-code as well...
Oh yah, sorry i will add your burden

In your earlier typewriter text demo (the one you used on gelman), it shows the text 1 by 1 character right?
How do you make it shows the text by 2 characters?to speed up the typewriting effect.

Send the project and I'll integrate it inside for you when I get the time. I still don't understand what it is you really want to know... I'll be waiting. PM me for my mail address if you do not want to post it publicly.

Pyrometal, can we work on this together? You can handle the dialog and whatnot, while I can handle canvas window designs. Whaddya say? :3 i've gotten pretty good at it, just look at IntoWindow3, or IW3.

The scripting is all done, you only need to change the art and some #define values. I do not have GE right now since I converted to Linux. I'll have to compile it when I have the time. Also, this is not made from a canvas, it is made from several actors. The canvas is too inefficient to be used extensively in real time. Ask me all the questions you want for now, then later I might be able to help out with the scripting once I have GE again.

Pyrometal you dont have to use the source code to get the full version of GE anymore for linux, it's already out for download on the downloads page

Unless of course your trying to do some editing of either the GUI or the functionality of GE.
