Hi guys, I am having trouble making a health meter for my character. I donnot want you have to make 200 images and 400 triggers to change the health meter everytime he takes damage.

Also, My main problem is with the menu. I can have a destroy actor trigger to rid of the menu and then a.05 fps path for the view to take you to the start of the level instantly and then the creat actor trigger so the veiw will be connected to the character. How am I suppose to work this out with out having over 50 triggers.

I have no problem making 50 triggers its just, theres gotta be an easier way to make the menu isnt there?

The menu and loading screen is taking pressious time and mind consuming tricks away from time that I need to be using on creating the level and rendering pictures.

The character has 2 traits. You can move him on the ground crawling and move him standing up. There two different ways he can move.

My other idea for the menu screen is this.

After you press enter to start the game. (The view is parent to the actor so the veiw follows the actor) The view follows an almost instant path to the start but thats not the problem. The veiw heads to the start instantly and the loading screen is over the start with a time that ends and the character appears. As soon as the character apears, the view is automatically attached to the character. If the character is off just a bit then the veiw is stuck there.

Does anyone have any other ideas so that I can finish the menu?

You can make a meter like the used in the Moon Defender tutorial (http://game-editor.com/tutorials/moonde ... l_eng.html)
