I have a small though somewhat odd question

Is it possible to make "expansion packs" to your completed projects? I have a Game idea that can use one, Its my take on a Card game lets just say, and the Expansion Packs would be for more cards. This is for a Character-based Card Battle game with gameplay thats a bit of a mix of both the Neo Geo Pocket Color and Nintendo DS versions of SNK Vs. Capcom Card Fighters Clash. (With some different aspects as well.)

I can explain my Gameplay ideas more if anyone is interested but I would like to at least want to know if "Expansion Packs" are possible?

well, I don't know how, but it's possible.
sooner or later fuzzy, tekdino or one of the GE pros will be online, I'm sure they can explain it to you :)

Its possible, but never been done to my knowledge. You'd need some sort of generic rule set for cards and then a load function for the cards... study file read and write, struct and pointers.. its about as advanced as you can go with GE.

Get it started, but also do some other projects.. be satisfied with a game without expansion packs at first. Later when you gain the skills you can revisit this.

Im sure that for now you could just put a code in the expansion pack and then enter it in a shop or other area in the card game. It would be a good way to have your game work until you can do all that work.
