I just got the GE silver demo, but now, whenever I try to make a parent actor, its makes it show up in front of the child actor.
IE: the gun arm shows up IN FRONT of the actors body insyead of behind it.
changing the Zdepth does nothing!
HELP!!

Parents aways are shown behind of their children.
In you case, remove the parent and add this code in the 'Draw Actor' event of the gun:
