Game-Editor in Linux Repositories

I was just wondering the reason that Game-Editor is not in any Linux Repositories that I have looked at.
Is it just that no one has gotten around to packaging it and getting it approved for repositories such as Debian or Ubuntu?
Or is there some other reason it hasn't made it in?

I think this would make Game-Editor more used on Linux systems
and it's a more secure way of installing software.

I was also thinking about Game Editor being in Linux Repositories, however Linux isn't the developers primary focus atm :3 Which is fine really, because one day game editor will be the ultimate creation tool.

Perhaps it should be. That's where most of the OSS hackers are. :P

We could post a basic edition for free. Lets say the editor and export for linux for example. All other targets would be charged for.

Maks?

The binary files available in http://game-editor.com/Download can be published in the main Linux repositories.

Yeah, the bin seems to work just fine, even for a crazy alternative alternative bleeding edge linux distro like Arch (What I use, though it doesn't play nice with my non-reparenting tiling windows manager. :P)

Might want to get GameEditor sound working on Linux before having it available in the Linux repos! :D
