New music formats

It would be nice if GE would add more audio formats that it is capable of playing in games. I know it already supports several but off all the supported formats I can only find royalty free music in .wav format. I have also had trouble finding an audio conversion program to convert files from the .wav format to one of the other supported formats.

For me .wav files slow the game down too much (I am currently programming for mobile platforms). It would be nice if GE would support .midi files or some other format that did not take as much computing power to run them as a .wav file does.

If anyone knows of a program that can conver .wav files to one of the other formats let me know.

have you tryed Audacity? It is a media editing program, but you can open wav files and save them as OGG files
