I started making this a while back (not too far though) and never really got interested enough to finish it. Shame too, I like these kinds of games...Oh well. It's a decent demonstration piece (still not the best). I made all the sprites but the player and the sword are re-colors of "Final Fantasy Adventure" sprites (originally black and white) so feel free to exploit them . I used this 16 color palette that I've fallen in love with that I planned on using for all sprites in the game. Bah, I'm rambling..just take a look and tell me what you think of this awkwardish coding style I had for the character. (still works better than I thought so no complaints )

Need help making sprites?
Give me the palette you used, and just send me some emails at my yahoo (same as my username)
of the pics you've made, want edited, want to have made, yada yada.
Either way, I like the camera control, and the controls feel pretty tight.

I'm sure this can get somewhere.
