what year was the first version of GE released? I wanna get an idea of how much it's improved since then.

2003, back then i think GE could run MP3s and all the interface was orange.

ok. so that's about five years of improvement! GE sounds deserving of praise. wish it was more recognized. when I first did a search for a game creator, GM was all I could see and goodness it was bad for me! good thing I eventually found GE or I would have totally given up trying to make any games!

i used to have it before, it was very hard to load your own animations into the editor

yea, those were good old times... I used to have the trial version back then and I was not happy at all because I couldn't make games for my Pocket PC... which caused me to finally buy the full version and join the forums which I had been looking at for quite some time.

now it's quite convenient.

i joined the forum just to post one question and then no others... but then i got to know some people on here and come on almost every day

when I first joined the forum a year ago, it was quite exciting... now that excitment has decreased a little...

alot of people ARE in school now... that is a reason its slower now

it was even slower during the summer.

there has to be a way to bring more members.

I was around when 1.3.5 was around .... or 1.3.6 I know I bought the full 1.3.6 version
