trouble with setting up Game Editor in Peppermint Ice

Hey using Ice and I downloaded the svn packages in lxterminal.

Looking in my program panels not seeing the program anywhere.

The folder is in my root...everything looks like it's there...

Any ideas on how to get it up and running would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Oh yes I also have Blender and Netbeans 6.8 on my machine...can I use those in concert with Game Editor?

First off I have no experience or knowledge of peppermint ice, but hope this will help. First off, if you got the source, there should be a directory, bin. Inside bin should be a gameEditorLinux executable, and that should work. This allows you to have a precompiled version, if that doesn't work then you will have to compile the source yourself. Not really sure about the program panel business, but you can insert it yourself I assume.

gameEditor does not support outside editors, it is standalone. So Blender and Netbeans won't work with gameEditor.

Cool so I see the gameEditorlinux executable in the Bin folder...when I click on I get a pop up requesting either a custom command line or to select an installed application to launch the exectable file...

any ideas?

Thanks,

M
