I decided to wait a month since September 14th to make this topic. It has been a month since someone posted and we need a way to fix this. GE3 revival.

The entire site is nearly dead. It can take days between each post.

Hey, I was trying to see how long I could be the "last reply" on the general forum :P

Silliness aside, I think part of the reason people don't use the general forum as much, is because the off topic section exists.

Yeah, but the last time someone posted in the off-topic section was in Sep 26.

I would'nt exactly say this site is dead it more like glaciated, all we need is something really big like GE 1.5
or a Mac port for 1.4.1, the game editor interface is sometimes orkward navigating, and the build-in tile engine is unreliable
It takes a lot of patience and some people just give up, but if you crack open the hard shell over Game Editor you get a powerful tool that can do anything (exept scaling and rotation)!

One thing I like about Game Editor is that the sprites, when in .png format, automatically have clean edges. In Game Maker, the free version I tried, those same .png files had white pixels messing up the edges of the same characters. Maybe I missed an option to reduce that or it doesn't work with .png's as well for transparencies, but Game Editor gets it right the first time and every time with no adjustments needed. +1 Game Editor.

The forum, though slow, has tons of valuable information on programming video games for Game Editor. I would not have succeeded making a game without the helpful tips here.

Maybe it's hibernation, when a new version gets released that makes the program more streamline, we could see more people on here.
Not majorly streamline, just enough so people want to seek GE out.
