when placing actors on screen during development it would be nice to be able to drag the actor to the place you want, but then to be able to use the cursor keys to "nudge" the actor, a pixel at a time to get very accurate placement
ie: it is sometime hard to move the actor to exactly the right place simply using the mouse..

Ya I really like that idea, at the moment I always zoom in and do it that way... But if you work with bigger animations than what I've been using...
ummmmm.... No comment
I vote for this!

there is a way to get an acurate placement. while you have the key down, look at the top of your screen. you will notice something like this:
whatevernumber x whatevernumber
that shows what pixel your actor is currenly being positioned over while you are placing it. supposing you want the actor to be in the center of the game center, then you just move it until the number says
0x0
just remember, for some reason the y axis shows up as being negative and down as being positive so when you move something upward it would look something like
0x-1
got it? does this help?

I knew that, and I often watch it, but I think it also depends on patience. I mean at normal zoom, you need to be careful, not to move it too far up/down/left.right. You can watch it, but you'll just see how your hand wiggles

Nudge is good idea... in the preferences, you should be able to put in a number for how mant pixels you want it to move

I don't vote for or against it. when you think about it, it would not be a commonly used feature and on top of that, there is only one man making the product.
